GLP CREOS tilt-mover with IP65 hits the market
Powerful, IP65-certified LED wash light with motorized tilt, which can be linked together to create a long moving LED bar.
GLP has just introduced its newest LED device, the Fusion Creos. This powerful, IP65-certified LED wash light is equipped with 18 RGBL diodes, each with a power of 40W, and a motorized zoom. The Fusion Creos combines the power of an LED wash light with the impressive effect of a massive LED bar. It can be used as a standalone device or in combination with multiple fixtures, and when several Fusion Creos units are linked together, they create a super effect as a “colossal LED bar”.
Creos' RGBL LEDs are arranged in three rows of six pixels each, and the motorized 1:12 zoom offers a range from a 4.3° beam to a uniform 52° wash. In addition to the standard color temperature of 6,500K, users can select other fixed temperatures: 3,200K, 4,200K, 5,600K, and 8,000K. The GLP iQ.Gamut color mixing algorithm automatically adds the color lime, achieving a TLCI of 77 in High Quality mode. In High Output mode, Creos delivers a total output of 7,600 lumens, with light intensity reaching up to 673 kcd.
The motorized head allows a tilt of 240°, enabling even more flexibility in lighting scenarios. Thanks to its motorized head and clusterable design, which ensures a uniform and homogeneous pixel pitch across multiple units, Creos can be used for a variety of lighting scenarios. By linking several units, the three LED rows can be seamlessly extended, allowing for the construction of massive LED bars and correspondingly impressive light curtains.
The IP65-rated housing makes GLP Creos suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, protecting it from wind, rain, dust, dirt, confetti particles, and smoke fluid residue. The device also features PowerCon True 1 In/Out, DMX 5pin In/Out, two fail-safe Ethernet ports, a LumenRadio CRMX module, and the GLP iQ.Mesh system for greater versatility. Despite its IP certification, the fixture weighs just under 20 kg, making it compact and suitable for everyday use.
Based on what we have learned, demo units are already available in sufficient quantities from all GLP branches and sales partners worldwide. Pre-orders are also being accepted, with official deliveries set to begin in November 2024. RM
